# Privacy policy

> This policy explains what personal data we collect through realpayee.com, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to demo requests and inquiries, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

## Who we are

“RealPayee”, “we” and “us” refer to the team operating realpayee.com. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [hello@realpayee.com](mailto:hello@realpayee.com).

## What we collect

When you request a demo, request the template updates, or otherwise submit a form, we collect:

- Your name, work email, company and role.
- The ERP or accounting system you use and your approximate payment volume.
- Your answers to any questions on the form.
- Campaign parameters in the page URL (UTM parameters such as source, medium and campaign), so we know how you found us.

We don't ask for payment information, bank details or government ID on this website.

## Why we use it

- To respond to your demo request or inquiry and schedule a demo.
- To send you the updates you asked for, such as changes to the policy template.
- To understand which channels bring interested finance teams, using UTM parameters.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of our forms.

We do **not** sell your personal data, rent it, or share it with advertisers.

## Where it's stored

The website and form submissions are hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which acts as our service provider. We limit access to the team that handles demo requests and inquiries. We may use a small number of other service providers (for example, to send email) only to operate this website and respond to you, and only under their own data protection terms.

## Cookies and analytics

We don't use advertising cookies. If we measure site traffic, we use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that count visits in aggregate without building a profile of you. Your browser may store small technical items needed for the site to work.

## Request logs and automated traffic

Like most websites, our servers log technical data about each request: the user agent, the IP address and the page requested. We use it to keep the site secure and to understand automated traffic, including AI assistants and crawlers that read our pages. These logs are processed by our own analytics infrastructure, are kept for a limited period, and are not sold or used to build advertising profiles.

## How long we keep it

We keep demo request and form data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

## Your choices and rights

- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Unsubscribe from any email via the link in that email, or by writing to us.

Email [hello@realpayee.com](mailto:hello@realpayee.com) and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, in California or the EU/UK); we'll honor them.

## Changes to this policy

This policy covers realpayee.com; use of the RealPayee product is covered by your customer agreement. If we change this policy, we'll update the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, tell people who have contacted us by email.
